Enable Flash in Edge

Refresh the web page or close Microsoft Edge, then reopen it. In rare cases, you may need to restart your computer.
If there are no open signs on the page indicating that Flash should be enabled, but you notice that some content is still missing, it is possible that Flash content will not load. This may happen in advance; for security reasons, Microsoft limits the use of Flash as much as possible. So, if you are greeted by a web page with only one puzzle icon, make no mistake about it. Instead, look in the address bar, then click on the puzzle icon. From there, you can choose to allow the displayed website to run Adobe Flash always or only once.

Deleting add-ons
The first thing to do to resolve your error message is to remove all add-ons that you have installed in your browser that force the functionality of YouTube. Updating Adobe Flash Player on Windows 10
Since Microsoft has grouped Adobe Flash on Windows, you can also get Adobe Flash updates via Windows Update. So if you have tried all the above options and Flash still refuses to load into Microsoft Edge, you will probably need to install an update.
Open Start > Settings > Update and Security > Windows Update > Check for updates. Download the latest update for Flash and install it if available.
Sometimes even Windows Update can be problematic when updates for Flash Player are installed. You can manually download the Flash Player update from the Microsoft Update Catalog.
Delete YouTube™ Flash® Player Extension
YouTube no longer offers Flash formats, and this extension can affect HTML5 video.
On the Add-ons page, you can view, disable and frequently delete unwanted or unknown extensions. Either one or the other:
- Ctrl+Shift+a (Mac : Command+Shift+a)
- Menu button “3-bar” (or Extras menu) > Add-ons
- Type about:addons in the address bar or paste it and press Enter/Return.
In the left column of the Add-ons page, click on Extensions. Then take a critical look at the list on the right. All extensions installed by Firefox itself are hidden on this page, so all that is indicated here is your choice (and your responsibility).
Sometimes, a link will appear above a disabled/deleted extension to restart Firefox before the change takes effect. You can finish your work on the tab and click on one of the links as the final step.
