Run System File Checker
Before upgrading, perform a check of the system file to ensure that it is a corrupted system file.
System File Checker is a Windows utility that allows users to search for errors in Windows system files and recover corrupted files. This article describes how to run the System File Checker (SFC.exe) program to check your system files and repair missing or corrupted system files on Windows.
To do this, click Start, type Command Prompt or cmd in the search box, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as Administrator. If you are prompted to enter an administrator password or confirmation, enter the password or click Allow.
If you are using Windows 10, Windows 8.1 or Windows 8, run the DISM (Inbox Deployment Image Servicing and Management) tool before running System File Checker.
Type the following command, then press Enter. It may take several minutes for the command operation to end.
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:C:\RepairSource\Windows /LimitAccess
At the command prompt, type the following command, then press ENTER :
Restore the previous version of Windows

You can hold down the Ctrl and Alt keys in the lower left corner, then the Delete key in the upper right corner of your keyboard (depending on your computer keyboard, these options may be in different areas – identify them first).

Press again and click on the word “Restart” with the mouse until the LEFT.
You should see the spinning points with the words “Please Wait”.
Run the Windows Update Troubleshooter
This irregular behavior of Windows 10 may have been caused by the current update itself. During updates, you may encounter problems with software changes, obsolete drivers, conflicting programs and sometimes component updates that have not been successfully performed.
You can run the troubleshooting for Windows Update. In this way, we can determine if the cause of the problem is there and fix it.
