Windows stores the last copied or cut item in a temporary storage area called a clipboard until you restart or disconnect your computer. If you copy or cut something else, the previous item is replaced by the new item. For privacy or security reasons, you may sometimes feel the need to delete the clipboard memory to prevent data theft from the clipboard.
If you want to delete your clipboard frequently, you can create a shortcut on the desktop to delete the clipboard or add an item to your desktop context menu.
