  • net stop wuauserv
  • (cdwindows
    • rename to SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution. bck
    • net to start wuauserv

3 That’s it! Your problem should be solved now. You can close and restart the prompt (16) to get results.
