1. Click on the Win button and type gpedit.msc.
2. Right-click on the search result and select Run as administrator.
3. Navigate to Computer Configuration -> Administration Templates -> Windows Components -> Data and Preview Constructions.
4. Look for Allow telemetry in the right pane and double-click on it.
5. Select On.
6. Then locate the drop-down menu in the Options and select Finish.
7. Click OK to save the changes.
8. In the Group Policy Editor, double-click Allow Telemetry.
9. Select Unconfigured and press OK.
10. Close the Group Policy Editor and try to delete the file(s) that previously triggered error code 0x80040304.
