• Clear the checkboxes for the following options when they are enabled :
• Show online status next to name
• Display user photos, if available
• Select OK and restart Outlook.

Disable Hardware Acceleration

Hardware acceleration is indeed useful and improves the visual experience within desktop applications, but only if you have the right configuration. On the contrary, it can reduce performance or even cause crashes and crashes on unsupported devices.

If you’re stuck with an old, embedded GPU, hardware acceleration can do more harm than good. And in the worst case, it can render Outlook completely unusable and cause the profile loading screen to shut down.

• Save the changes and restart Outlook.

Disable Outlook Compatibility Settings
