How to activate or deactivate Alt Gr?

There is no way to disable this key. The default mode is enabled. However, depending on what you do with the Alt Gr key, workarounds are available.

1] If you have an Alt Gr key on your computer, you can disable it by simultaneously pressing the Shift and CTRL keys. It may have been activated to always be on, so it can be turned off.

2] We know that Windows imitates this key when you press Ctrl + Alt simultaneously or use the right Alt key. If your ALt Gr physical key no longer works, you can use this combination.

Recognize the Alt Gr (Alt Graph) modifier at the touch of a button

In the Javascript event object, there are Boolean values to check if the edit keys are pressed:

ctrlKey: CTRL key.
altKey : ALT key.
altLinks : Left ALT key. For IE only.
altGraphKey : ALTGR key. For Chrome/Safari only.

But there are some problems:

IE and Chrome set ctrlKey to true and altKey to true when you press the ALTGR modifier.
Firefox sets ctrlKey to false and altKey to true when you press the ALTGR modifier because only ALT has been pressed.
Chrome has the property altGraphKey, but is still undefined.
