Snpachat users who have had the application for years are used to clicking and scrolling through the filters to add the temperature label. This is very useful for cold days or the unusually hot spring days that have recently been observed in much of the country.
Snapchat allows you to brag or complain about the temperature in your part of the country, but it has moved the functionality from one part of the application to another. Here’s how you find it.
Even before its redesign – with users scratching their heads – Snapchat confused most people trying to understand its interface. So I wasn’t surprised to get a question from a member of the Tom’s Guide forum who couldn’t find one of the most well-known features of Snapchat.
The temperature is now a sticker, which means you can pinch it and zoom in on the temperature to make the information smaller and larger. When you tap on the temperature sticker, you can also change it for five or three days or convert it from Fahrenheit to Celsius.

Find the Snapchat Temperature Sticker
Scroll through the stickers to find the number with the degree symbol next to it. If you can’t find it, your phone may not support the temperature setting on Snapchat. The beta version of Snapchat on Android does not have the temperature sticker. If you’re using the beta, go to the Google Play store, find the Snapchat application, and sign out of the beta test.
Your phone has its own set of sensors, from gyroscopy to altitude and speed. However, temperature isn’t always something your hardware can detect. The information you see can be gathered from online data sources. After all, if your phone was just taking the temperature, wouldn’t it be warmed by the warmth of your hand?
How do I Get Temperature Sticker on Snapchat?
The procedure is similar for Android and iOS. So you can follow the steps discussed on either platform. However, you need to make sure that you have followed these 2 steps if you want to use the weather sticker.
To do this, the tracking services on your smartphone must be activated.
Once you have activated GPS, open Snapchat. Make sure the Snapchat application has permission to access the location.
- Record a video, take a photo, or download a snapshot from the camera roll or gallery, as you would normally do
- Now that you are on the edit screen, tap the sticker icon to see all the stickers available on Snapchat.
- You will then see a bunch of stickers, including the one you were looking for, the temperature sticker. Just tap on the sticker to add it to your Snapchat.
