Xbox has always created great games for users, but it has been repeatedly reported that they encounter a bug with the 0x80073D13 code when installing certain games into the Xbox Game Pass PC application. The problem occurs when game downloads get stuck at 4.5-9.5%, making it difficult for gamers to play their favorite game. The error notification looks like this:

Create a new partition

The following steps will create a new partition (disk D) on your Shadow PC by borrowing space from its C disk. These instructions assume that you currently only have one (C) drive.

1. Open the application “Disk Management” by pressing WIN-R and typing “** diskmgmt **. Msc” and then press Enter.
2. right-click disk C in the grid above and select “Decrease volume …”.
3. In the window that appears, select the space you want to compress for disk C. This is the space you will later allocate for the new disk D.
   DO NOT select the full amount you want to compress in the “Reduced space available in MB” field. You want Windows to breathe. For security reasons, enter a number that is half the available compressed space if it is enough for installed games.
4. Click on “Reduce”. After a while your C drive will be a little smaller and you will see a new Unallocated partition in the drive 0 diagram below.
5. Right click on the “Unallocated” area in the lower right corner and select “New Simple Volume …”.
6. This will format the unassigned space as disk D. You can make changes at any time. Just make sure that the “Selection Size” is set to “Standard” or “4K”. However, there is no doubt that you will simply continue with the wizard.

8. In the Xbox app, click your profile icon at the top and select “Settings”.
9. Click on “General” on the left.
10. In the Select Device section on the right, click the drop-down list (C 🙂 and select (D :).
11. Try to install the game, now it should be successful.

Format your existing drive

Changing the file system from exFAT to NTFS has fixed this problem. To properly format your existing drive, follow these steps:

• Right-click the local hard drive and select “Format”.
• Install the file system on NTFS.
• Change the selection size to 4096 bytes.
• Click Start. This process takes some time. So wait until the format is correct. This may solve your problem.

Check the time and date settings

Sometimes the Windows Store is not updated if you have incorrect time and date settings. To make sure they’re correct, click the time and date in the right corner of the taskbar. In the window that appears, click the date and time settings to open the Settings app.

Above, make sure that the time is correct. Otherwise, make sure that the “Automatic Time Setting” and “Automatic Time Zone Setting” sliders are set.

If this does not give you the correct time, turn both sliders off and adjust the time manually using the controls below.

Reset the application to Windows 10

• Open settings
• Go to System> Applications and functions.
• Find the application you want to reset and click “Advanced Options”.
• Just click the reset button.

Once you click the reset button, all application data will be erased and the application will be the same as you just installed it. Note that resetting the application will erase all stored data. Therefore, unless you have a good reason to reset it, we do not recommend doing so.
