Large Windows 10 updates are not always smooth. And if you own Microsoft Surface Book 2, you’ll probably be a little upset to learn that you can’t upgrade to Windows 10 version 1903, the latest version of Microsoft’s operating system, because of a bug in Nvidia GPUs.

1. Press Windows + R. Type services.msc, then press Enter.
2. Check for a Windows update.
3. Right-click on Windows Update and select Properties.
4. In the General tab, set the start type to Disabled.
5. Click on Stop.
6. Click Apply, then click OK.
7. Restart your computer.
