When Microsoft revealed that Windows Phone 7 had its own user interface (Metro UI) as they call it, they also said they would have control of the user interface, making it virtually impossible for other custom user interfaces like the HTC Sense to port to Windows Phone 7 devices.
But recently HTC’s Drew Bamford revealed in an interview with Forbes his plans to bring UI meaning to the next Windows Phone7.
Al though he mentioned that the newer sense interface will not be the same as the current Windows Mobile 6.5 interface ; but with some changes that fit the Windows phones.

HTC improves the sense of the user interface by adding new experiences and developing others. This means that we will not have the full detection interface on our Windows Phones 7, but we may be able to use some features and functionality.

It remains to be seen to what extent HTC can bring the magic of Sense UI to Windows Phone7 devices.
All that remains is to hope that they can find something before the launch.
