To test this function yourself, move the mouse pointer to the lower right corner to open the Charms bar. Click Settings and go to Networks.

Here you see a list of your network connections. Right-click on any of your networks to get a context menu that allows you to quickly perform various functions and manage your connections, including WiFi connections.

If a network requires passwords and you have saved your access data, you can delete the saved user name and password by selecting Delete saved login information .

You can delete specific networks by clicking I forgot this network.

You can define a Wi-Fi network as a measured connection by selecting Set as measured connection or display your data consumption by selecting Display estimated data consumption. This is especially useful when you are travelling and connected to a paid network and want to manage or track your data usage. If you cannot see this option, open the shortcut bar > Settings > Change PC settings > Change PC settings > Network > Data usage > Enable Show my estimate of data usage in the Networks list.

You can also Set a network connection as unmeasured .

Many times these small Windows features are overlooked, but I’m sure some of you will find this useful.
