When you uncheck the box, Google will not show you the ads when you are on YouTube or on your Google search page. You will still see the ads, but they will be less relevant.
These settings allow you to enable or disable customization of Google ads. These settings are saved in your Google Account (if you are logged in) or in your browser (if you are not logged in).
