Before formatting the hard disk, you may need to run antivirus software to scan the hard disk and remove viruses and malware.
Warning: Formatting deletes everything on the partition. If the RAW partition contains important files, you must restore them before trying to format them.
- Connect the inaccessible hard disk drive to the computer so that it can be detected.
- Open the hard disk management. Right-click the Computer/Computer icon on the desktop and select Manage, then click Disk Management.
- Locate the RAW drive and right-click to select “Format”.
