SUMo is designed to scan your computer system for installed applications and software. The program checks the installed version of an application, with the latest version available on the Internet.
Software update monitor functions
Check – When you click the’Check’ button, the program checks if an updated version of the software installed on your system is available. SUMo keeps you informed of all minor and major updates and categorizes them accordingly.
Scan – It is very easy to use and will be installed on your computer system in minutes. Once the software is installed, all you have to do is click on the’Scan’ button and the program will scan your entire system to list the installed software and applications.
Add – The software may not recognize the portable software installed on your system. In this case, you can add the unrecognized software to the program by simply clicking the’Add’ button.
Delete/Ignore– If you think some of the updates are unnecessary, you can delete or ignore them with the right mouse button by clicking the Delete/Ignore button. If you ignore an update, it will no longer appear in the list.
Get Update – To update your installed software to the list displayed by SUMo, simply double-click the software and click Get Update. You will be directed to the official KC Software website, which lists the various software updates and links relevant for software updates.
When you visit the download page, you will see 3-4 different download types under SUMO. If you click the blue download button, you will receive a full version of Crapware. Click on the small button on the right – shown here in the image by a red arrow – to download the Lite version, which is clean.
