Sticky notes on Windows 7 and Windows 8 allow you to attach your notes and reminders to your desktop. This is a very useful feature and there are many things you can do with it. Sometimes you want to delete an old sticky note. To do so, click on the’x’. If you now delete a sticky note in Windows 8/7, you will be prompted to confirm. You must click Yes and continue. If you check box Do not display this message again, you will not be asked to stop future prompts the next time you delete a sticky note. But what happens if you decide later that you prefer to be asked back? There is no chance that the Windows interface will make your job easier.
If you want to reactivate it, there are 3 ways to reactivate the confirmation prompt.

Double-click the registry entry PROMPT_ON_DELETE in the right pane.
In the Value field, type 00000001, then click OK. Out.
