1 Press Windows + R combination and enter taskschd.msc in the Run dialog box. Click OK.
2 In the Task Scheduler window, navigate to Task Scheduler -> Microsoft -> Windows -> Windows Defender. Now select the third name for Windows Defender Scheduled Scan in the center area, as shown below :
3 Now you will be taken to the next place where you need to change to the Trigger tab (16). Click New.
4 We are now planning scanning, so we configure it as shown in the following window. First select Start Task as On Calendar, then select your priority for analysis in section Settings. Make sure you have enabled Enabled in the lower left corner of this window. Finally, click OK.
5 Go to Actions tab and click Edit.
6 First, insert the script of the broadcast between quotation marks, since it is not present by default. And here you can add two types of arguments, Scan -ScheduleJob for Quick Scan and Scan -ScheduleJob -ScheduleJob -ScanType 2 for Full Scan. Click OK.
7 Go to tab Conditions and select the Performance Options according to your most appropriate priority. It is advantageous to set the unit to ON even if it is not turned on at the scheduled time. You can also set the priority for the network here.
8 We have now completed the planning. You can confirm this in the window where Next Run Time is displayed depending on your selection in step 4.
Windows Defender automatically scans your computer at the scheduled time.
