Microsoft announced at the start of Windows 10 that the mobile game Candy Crush Saga would be preinstalled in Windows 10. It’s a very addictive King game and joins the ranks with Solitaire, Minesweeper and Hearts, games that are an integral part of the Windows platform. I checked my Lenovo yoga tablet and found that it is pre-installed.
Although you can uninstall Store Apps at any time by right clicking on the icon and selecting Uninstall, I found this method more reliable and complete.
Remove Candy Crush Saga from Windows 10
Enter the following command in the PowerShell window and press Enter.
Get-AppxPackage -ame king.com.CandyCrushSaga
Now search the results on the screen for the following:
king.com.CandyCrushSaga_1.540.1.0_x86__khqwnzmzfus32 or something similar, under the line’PackageFullName’.
Copy the complete’PackageFullName’ for correct application.
If you don’t get results, something will change in later versions of Windows 10. You can run the following command to get the’PackageFullName’ :
Once you have the PackageFullName, type’Remove-AppxPackage’ and insert spaces or enter the’PackageFullName’ extracted in the previous step.
Press Enter to execute the command.
After that, the uninstallation is complete.
To check if the operation was successful, repeat step 2 This time the command will not display anything, your request has been confirmed and the Candy Crush saga has been removed from the game.
Users can also check the Windows 10 Start menu to see if the Candy Crush Saga application still exists or not.
