Running EAProxyInstaller with administrator rights

This problem can be caused by Origin’s cache files. Try clearing the files from the cache to see if you can solve this problem. Here’s how to do it:

1) Close the origin when it is running. Click on Origin in the menu bar, then click on Exit to close it.

2) On your keyboard, press the Windows logo key and simultaneously press R to open the Run dialog box. Then type %ProgramData% and press Enter.

3) In the pop-up window, double-click on the Origin folder to open it.

4) Delete all files and folders in this folder except the LocalContent folder.

5) On your keyboard, press the Windows logo key and simultaneously press R to open the Run dialog box. Then type %AppData% and press Enter.

Uninstalling Origin

Delete the Origin client files:

  1. Select Computer from the Start menu.
  2. Select drive C:.
  3. Select the Program Files folder. On 64-bit systems, it is called Program Files (x86).
  4. Right-click on the Origin folder and select Delete.
