Register the urlmon.dll

  1. Click on Start, then on Run. You can also press the Windows + R button.
  2. In the Open box, type Regsvr32 urlmon.dll, then click OK.
  3. If you are prompted to specify DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll successful, click OK.
  4. It will record the urlmon.dll. Check if the problem persists.

Reinstalling Internet Explorer

  • Call the “Start” menu and select “Control Panel”.
  • Open “Programs” and select “Uninstall a program”.
  • Click on “View Installed Updates.
  • Double-click on your Internet Explorer. Wait until it is uninstalled.
  • Download Internet Explorer from their trusted website.
  • Follow the instructions to install the browser.
  • Restart your computer.

Disabling third party browser extensions

  1. Press Windows + R to open a Run dialog box. Then type “control” and press Enter to open the classic control panel interface.
  2. Once in the Control Panel window, use the search function in the upper right corner to search for “Internet Options”. Then click on Internet Options in the search results.
  3. On the Internet Properties screen, select the Advanced tab in the top bar.
  4. Scroll through the list of navigation settings and make sure the check box to enable third-party browser extensions is not checked.
