The Microsoft management console has stopped working
The Microsoft Management Console (MMC) represented by process mmc.exe handles administrative snap-ins for Windows. If one of the affected snap-ins such as Device Manager, Group Policy Editor, Disk Management, etc. fails, it is quite possible that the MMC is responsible. In such a situation, an error dialog box may appear saying:
Microsoft Management Console no longer works
Such crashes may refer to incompatible application DLLs attached to the process mmc.exe.
