4 In the Performance Options window, you see 3 options :
- Let Windows choose what best suits my computer
- Define the best look
- Define the best performance.
Choosing Customize for the best performance can make Windows work a little better, but you need to do without the visual effect – and that’s something you may not want to do.
Here are the settings I prefer to turn off. Do not hesitate to modify them and adapt them to your needs.
I prefer to remove the check marks from the following options :
- Hide menu items after clicking
- Enable clear glass (however, you will lose the Aero cool. See)
- View or move animations in the taskbar

- Animate window while minimizing and maximizing

- Show shadows under windows

- Drag combo boxes

deactivation of all unnecessary animations (if possible). Select the check box and click Apply.
