5. Now select the start time, the day of the recurring week, then click on the “Next” button. As you can see, I have chosen my recurring day as “Sunday”, which simply means that the task will be performed every Sunday at 2:53 pm.
6. Go to the Actions tab and click on New.
7. In the Programs/script field, type cmd.exe.
8. Add the following arguments and click OK.

/C “echo Y|PowerShell.exe -NoProfile -Command Clear-RecycleBin”

Once you have completed the above steps, the task will automatically run according to your specified schedule and the Trash will be emptied automatically.

Using the settings

• First click the Start button and select Settings as shown below.
• In the settings ====> Memory on the left, select Systems from the list of items. Under Memory Sense, set the key to On. This will automatically free up space by deleting unnecessary files such as temporary files and the contents of your recycle bin.
• To immediately remove temporary files and empty your recycle bin, click Other Storage Settings, then click Clean Up Now.
