When users installed Windows 8 Consumer Preview, they were mumbling about the new operating system that did not provide a Twitter client, as was previously the case in the Windows 8 Developer Preview. On Windows 8 DP, the Twitter [email protected] client has been provided.
But now FlipToast has released a Metro application to access Twitter and Facebook in Windows 8 and is now available on the Windows store. FlipToast is the first application Twitter offers in Windows 8 Consumer Preview.
To install FlipToast Twitter & Facebook Client, open the Windows store. Click on’New publications’.
I also noticed a new’Top paid’ category – although it doesn’t list any applications yet.
If you cannot see the’New version’ option, click on’Top free’ and search for FlipToast. If you can’t find it, press WinKey+Q in the open store and select Apps, and enter FlipToast in the search field, you will now definitely see the application. Install it.
Let’s see what FlipToast & some of its features look like. FlipToast is a simple Twitter client, but you can also access Facebook through it.
After installation, open FlipToast and click’+’ at the top right. Then click on’Accounts’ then on’Add an account’ and configure your Twitter and Facebook accounts from here.

You can also configure it to access your Facebook account .
