Change what the computer power button does
In the WinX Control Panel menu, open the Power Options applet. Select in the right area Select what the power switches do. In the system settings, you can define what the power switch does. Under option , when I press the power button, you can specify what happens when the computer is battery powered and when it is connected.
You will now see four options in the drop-down menu. You can select’Do nothing’,’Sleep’,’Hibernation’ or’Off’.
Select the desired option and click Save Changes to save the settings.
