Facebook addicts will find another way to follow their friends. Mozilla after the last stable release of Firefox, Firefox 17 announced a messaging service. Messenger for Firefox is a new service that allows Firefox 17 users to deeply integrate messaging features into social networking sites like Facebook – no matter which website they visit.
We use social networking sites all day, whether to check for updates, chat with friends or share something exciting. Simply put, we always want to stay in touch! And that’s why Messenger is designed for Firefox. You’ll see new messages as they arrive, receive real-time activity alerts and more. You don’t need to keep another tab open! Messenger is still in the sidebar.
If you don’t like the feature, you can hide the sidebar or disconnect from Messenger at any time; the feature is optional.
