Disconnecting when alt-tabbing on PC
PC gamers reported interruptions while playing with alternate tabs or minimized. Rare is working on a solution, but here are some workarounds.

Grant Sea of Thieves permission to perform background operation
To fix this issue, first make sure Sea of Thieves and all other background services on your computer are closed.
Then press Windows Key + R to open the Run dialog box. In the text box, enter ms-settings: privacy-backgroundapps and press Enter. This will open the Background Applications window in the Settings app on your PC.
When the Background Applications window opens, enable background applications by setting the button under “Allow apps to run in the background” to ON. Thus, all applications on your computer can run in the background when you minimize them or when not in use.
When you have done this, scroll through the list of applications and go to the location with the Sea of Thieves game. Make sure the button is in the ON position. After confirmation, you can reopen the game to check if the issue has been successfully resolved.
