The MBR is the main boot record, and when you boot your PC, the first thing the PC does is to look for the location of the operating system. This is what he finds when he examines the MBR. In case of a problem with the MBR, the operating system cannot be loaded and the PC is shut down.

The cause of such a problem can be essentially reduced to two things. It is less likely that your PC will try to load the operating system for an external device or drive, such as an external hard drive, and that it cannot be restarted because there is nothing there. Try disconnecting the external disks to see if that’s the problem.
More likely, the main boot record was corrupted or lost for some reason. If this is the case, the ideal solution is to recover them from your system backup device with all the other missing files. However, many people have lost it or have never made a backup, so it is not an option for them.

Changing the Boot Order in the BIOS

- First of all, you must turn on or restart your computer. Some startup screens during startup should display a message asking you to press a specific key to access SETUP. Press the displayed key.

- The first device in this list must be the hard disk on which the operating system is located. The bar at the bottom of the screen should contain instructions for changing the order. In the image below, you can use the “-” and “+” buttons to change the order.
- Then, make sure you access the Exit tab in the menu above and select Exit Change Recording. The bottom bar could display a keyboard shortcut for the same option. Select it and your computer should start properly.

1. Boot your PC with a Windows 7 installation CD/DVD.
2. click on Repair Computer -> Recovery Option -> Command Prompt.
3. enter the following commands to delete the error message:
