Enter folder options in Start search and press Enter. In the View tab, in the Advanced Settings area, search Restore previous folder windows to logon.

Activate these options and simply click on the’Apply’ button then on’OK’.

If you disconnect, restart or close the session, Windows will automatically open previously opened folders.

However, if you also want to reopen the application windows after restarting, you must use a tool called Cache My Work.
