In previous versions of Windows, you could see the list of wireless networks to which you were previously connected, change the order in which those preferred networks were connected when more than one was available, and add or remove the preferred networks from that list. Until Windows 7, previously connected wireless networks were stored and displayed in the list of preferred wireless networks, but this feature seems to have been removed in Windows 8. Microsoft probably deleted it because they added a supposedly smart feature that handles wireless profiles as much as you connect to them. I am one of those people who would like to know what is happening in the background on my Windows computer. I used to use the task manager to manage widgets and freeware to find out what program was running, what my memory usage was, and so on. And then I came across this little utility called MemInfo!

MemInfo displays the current Windows memory usage in the taskbar. The current memory means both the physical memory and the page file in real time. It is also very adaptable.
