With PowerShell, you can customize the font in which text is displayed. It has some specific fonts to choose from, so you do not have the entire font library, but these fonts are designed to work with the terminal, which cannot be said for all fonts. The font is easy to change, and what you choose can be set as the default font in PowerShell. If you try to change the default font and it does not change, you may wonder what you are doing wrong. This problem is actually related to the font that you have chosen.
Changing the PowerShell Font in Windows 10
Step 1: Press the Win+R keys to open the Start dialog box.
Step 2: Type PowerShell and press Enter to launch Windows PowerShell.
Step 3: Right-click the title bar at the top of the console window. Then click Properties on the menu.
Step 4: In the Properties dialog box, click the Font tab.
You can specify the size and fonts used at the Windows PowerShell command prompt. Then click the OK button.
Step 5: On the Layout tab. Select the Wrap Text when Sizing check box.
Then click OK to save the settings.

Restore the Font that does Not Change in PowerShell.
You can change the font used in PowerShell by right-clicking the title bar and going to Properties or Defaults. The window that opens contains the Font tab where you can select a font and its size. If the changes you make in this window are not saved, i.e. if PowerShell does not remember them the next time you open the application, you will have to select a different font. If you do this, PowerShell will remember it. This can be a problem with any font, so try the font that works and use it. You can install other fonts, but make sure that they work with PowerShell before installing.
You may need to download and install the font yourself to repair it. It is difficult to say what may cause the font problem. When I had this problem, the font worked well with other applications, and PowerShell could use it for the current session. It just couldn’t use it when I closed the application and restarted it.
