Microsoft has released several convenience stores for Windows 10/8. Last week, we discussed the Windows application troubleshooting tool, which you can use to solve problems with applications. Today we will discuss Microsoft Accounts Troubleshooter for Windows 10/8, which allows you to automatically resolve problems with your Microsoft account and synchronization settings.

Windows 10/8 users know that there are several ways to connect to the operating system. One of them is the use of a Microsoft account. We have already seen how to synchronize Windows PC settings with the Microsoft account. But what if you can’t use the Microsoft account or synchronization settings?

Microsoft Account Synchronization Problems and Settings

January 2021 Update:

We now recommend using this tool for your error. Additionally, this tool fixes common computer errors, protects you against file loss, malware, hardware failures and optimizes your PC for maximum performance. You can fix your PC problems quickly and prevent others from happening with this software:

  • Step 1 : Download PC Repair & Optimizer Tool (Windows 10, 8, 7, XP, Vista – Microsoft Gold Certified).
  • Step 2 : Click “Start Scan” to find Windows registry issues that could be causing PC problems.
  • Step 3 : Click “Repair All” to fix all issues.

Microsoft has released a Fix It ATS called Microsoft Accounts Troubleshooter to help you automatically resolve these problems. In particular, the Convenience Store will identify and correct the following problems, among others:

  • Microsoft account settings are corrupted
  • Unable to connect to synchronization service
  • Microsoft account policy issue
  • Unable to connect due to proxy or certificate
  • Check GPO status while roaming
  • Connect
  • You are not connected to the Internet
  • You must be connected to the Internet
  • You must be connected to the Internet, to synchronize your settings
  • Proxy settings
  • Check that the system is not enabled.

Once you have downloaded the Troubleshooter cab file, click on it to run it. I prefer to click Advanced and always see and select the problems I want to correct. Click Next to start the analysis.

Once the scan is complete, you will see a list of problems that may prevent your Microsoft account from working properly. Synchronization adjustment problems, if any, are also corrected. If you click Next, the current problems are solved automatically.
