Normally, you do not need to change the language after the initial installation. But there may be situations where you do.

Maybe a relative or friend from another country is visiting and wants to use your computer. We recommend that you create a default user account for them. Then change the system language of this account at your convenience.

According to a Chromium Commit, “holding the hard disk during this process generally increases power consumption and can also prevent the integration of some less efficient modes into the operating system. As media consumption is a high consumption scenario, this additional energy consumption has a negative impact on the battery life.” Data caching means that the hard disk is active and therefore consumes a lot of energy. After a month of testing by Windows 10 Fast Ring insiders, Sticky Notes 3.7 will be officially distributed to all users using the Windows 10 April 2018 or later update.

Perhaps the most important feature of version 3.7 is ink analysis – a feature that allows the software to recognize text in handwritten notes. By default, Windows uses the index when searching for faster search results. The search index contains only the places you select. These locations can be filtered according to file types (extensions), file properties and the content of the files you want to index.

The index uses the Windows search service and runs as a Searchindexer.exe process in the background. The index is automatically recreated and updated if changes have been made to the included locations since the last index configuration to increase the accuracy of search results. By default, the indexing speed is reduced due to user activity. When the computer is inactive, the indexing speed returns to full speed to complete indexing faster. read more
